Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of PCLift. By creating an account, starting an intake, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PCLift.
Effective: 2026-06-04
1. Acceptance of Terms
You accept these terms when you first use PCLift. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service Scope and Eligibility
PCLift provides PC upgrade recommendations, compatibility checks, trade-in routing, and assisted listing pathways. The service is intended for users 18 and older who are legally able to enter into contracts in their jurisdiction.
3. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We use Firebase Auth for sign-in and session-based authentication for the app surface.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by submitting knowingly false rig details, attempting to overwhelm the service with automated requests, scraping plan content, or interfering with partner handoffs. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section.
5. Recommendations, Compatibility, and Pricing Disclaimer
Recommendations, expected performance ranges, and price observations are guidance, not guarantees. Compatibility checks are best-effort and depend on the accuracy of the rig details you provide. Always verify fit, wattage, BIOS support, and case clearance before purchase. Pricing is captured from third-party sources and can change without notice.
6. Affiliate and Partner Routing
Some buy routes include affiliate or partner links. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details on how commissions are earned and how rankings are influenced.
7. Intellectual Property
PCLift, the logo, and the underlying software are owned by PCLift or its licensors. You retain ownership of the rig details, uploads, and other content you submit, and you grant PCLift a limited license to use that content to operate and improve the service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for operational reasons, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion from your account settings.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PCLift disclaims all implied warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product and via email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@PCLift.com.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PCLift operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Effective 2026-06-04. See also the Affiliate Disclosure.
